Mini hydro power generation is a well-established form of renewable energy that harnesses the natural flow of water to produce reliable electricity with relatively low environmental impact. As a proven and long-life infrastructure (lifespan of 30-50 years) asset class, mini hydro plays an important role in supporting clean energy transition, enhancing grid stability, and contributing to long-term energy diversification. Its operational efficiency and scalability make it an attractive component of sustainable infrastructure portfolios globally.
Indonesia offers strong underlying fundamentals for mini hydro development, supported by abundant hydrological resources, favorable topography, and growing national commitment to renewable energy expansion.
The Company is currently undertaking due diligence in relation to the proposed acquisition of two mini hydro power plant projects located in Java Island as part of its strategic expansion into renewable energy infrastructure. The projects itself has secured off-take for electricity, showed improvement in production efficiency, and is geographically well-positioned for further development.
